Gina

I know the void and cheated emotions one can have from losing a mother so young. I list mine at 5 years old.

I love to read your entries . Your writing flows like icing on a freshly baked cake .

Will there ever be a book ?🤗

Lovely! Your mom sounds dearly missed. And like someone who lived well in the time she had. Happy May Day!

Gina - Who knew you are such a talented writer. Your post about Marion, which included a reference to my Dad, was beautiful and sublime. Yes, my sisters and I are extremely lucky to have had our Dad for so many years and yes, the loss hurts. They live on in us, as will our kids and their kids. And so it is, the human experience. Much love, Cousin Mike

Ah Gina, I, too am missing my mom this spring. She died just 20 days short of her 70th April birthday. I remember both your parents, sister and brothers, what a fine clan! And, yes, our mortality loams up to haunt us as we recognize that we are the next generation to really have to face this. Also, when we lose a sibling, it is doubly troubling. I am sorry to have read about Ginger, belated condolences.

So beautifully written Gina. Your mom was a very special lady. Gifted in many ways, I do see that carried on in you. We were blessed to have her. I’m sorry to hear of your Uncle. It’s so crazy to think we are now the grandmas. Lord, please help us to leave a legacy that our parents have left in us. It certainly has been rich. I love you
